TGS aftermarket air filters provide the highest possible quality replacement air filters for most Cat® heavy equipment. The open and closed end caps are fabricated using a polyurethane material that is highly elastic and provides a high resistance to vibration and impact. The perfect union of the end caps with the filter paper element ensures a uniform seal that does not permit any bypass of incoming air between these surfaces. The end caps are chemically adhered to the filter element with a soft elastic material, providing the benefit of a perfect seal and assuring the flow of air through the filter medium.

AIR FILTER INDICATORS

Knowing when to change your machine's air filter is critical. Replacing air filters too soon increases maintenance costs. On the other hand, replacing an air filter too late reduces airflow and engine performance. Visual Inspection of an air filter is not a satisfactory way of determining when a filter needs replacing. An air filter change indicator is the most reliable way to determine when an air filter needs replacing.
