HYDRAULIC PISTON ROTATING GROUP

The rotating group of a piston pump is comprised of a cylinder barrel that is rotated by a shaft; seven or nine pistons installed in the cylinder block with brass shoes attached. As the cylinder block turns the pistons travel in and out of the bore of the block. This is how the flow is generated. During service it is suggested that if pistons are to be replaced all should be changed. At TGS, we sell all these parts individually or as a complete group.

Hydraulic cylinder heads are designed to maintain hydraulic pressure by closing off the opposite end of the hydraulic cylinder. The main component in a hydraulic vane pump is the cartridge group. TGS stocks a wide array of replacement cartridge kits with various displacements for the most popular equipment. EXCAVATOR COUPLINGS

TGS excavator coupling (hydraulic system) assemblies are manufactured with the highest quality thermoplastic polyester as well as high temperature rubber (HTR), that are highly resistant to extreme temperatures, chemicals and solvents. Both materials have excellent properties for transferring and absorbing shock load and reducing wear on equipment.

WIPER SEALS

TGS wiper seals are not a pressure sealing part, yet they avoid possible damaging effects which may occur if any waste were to reach the sealing and rod bearings. At TGS we offer single and double lip seals on the following materials:

U-CUP SEALS

The U-cup seals are made of Polyurethane, which ensures they have the exact flexibility for a greater efficiency and easy installation. Because of their design and composition, TGS hydraulic seals offer a better friction and adapt better to high temperatures, prolonging the life of the seal. At the same time they also offer a better sealant resistance to high pressures avoiding leaks and pollution.

VANE PUMP CARTRIDGES

The VQH (high pressure) pumps are specifically designed for higher pressure and higher speed operation. The VQH series employ a rotor design which enhances the pressure capabilities of the pump. Max pressure ratings for the VQH designs range between 3,300 and 3,500 PSI depending on the model size. VQH cartridges are interchangeable with the VQ series pumps.
